In early March 2022, I was confirmed as Type 2 diabetic with an HbA1c of 59, at that time I weighed 102kg.
My diabetes nurse suggested that as well as taking medications (Metformin) that I consider the Michael Mosley “Low Carb Low Sugar” diet, I was asked if I would join the area Low Carb course run by the local GP practices and hosted by Sue and Mark. Its not a diet but a lifestyle choice.
With the help of the Low Carb course, the support provided by both Sue, Mark, my GP practice diabetes nurse and my low carb and sugar lifestyle choices, I reversed my diabetes in three months, stopped taking the medication and have remained in remission.
